Job summary

NHS Tayside is seeking a physiotherapist to join the Children and Young People’s physiotherapy team. The role covers work with birth to 18 years in schools, nurseries, homes, inpatient and outpatient settings, delivering universal, targeted and specialist interventions.

Applicants should hold a degree in Physiotherapy and demonstrate excellent communication and multidisciplinary collaboration. Informal enquiries are welcomed; 36 hours per week, fixed/secondment until 31 July 2027.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physiotherapy and professional registration.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams across health and education.
• Strong communication with children, families and professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide physiotherapy services to children and young people from birth to 18 years in schools, nurseries, homes, inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Collaborate with education and health professionals to deliver universal, targeted and specialist interventions.
• Contribute to CPD and career development within the Children and Young People’s physiotherapy service.
