Job summary

Kids' Therapy Works in Colchester, Essex, is seeking experienced HCPC-registered Occupational Therapists to join our expanding team. You will assess and treat children across clinic, home, and school settings, with a varied caseload including sensory processing, DCD, and fine motor skills.

A key part of the role involves EHCP assessments and education report writing to support children in accessing the right provision.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
• Experience in paediatric/children's OT
• Experience writing professional education reports
• Experience working with schools, SENCOs and education professionals
• Full UK driving licence for home/school visits
• Right to work in the UK
• Band 6 level or readiness to progress from Band 5
• Knowledge of standardised paediatric assessments (BOHA, Movement ABC, DASH, Sensory Profile 2)
• Experience with sensory integration, fine motor development or DCD
• Familiar with Essex and Suffolk education/SEND systems

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy to children across clinic, home and school settings
• Conduct EHCP assessments and write education reports
