Job summary

Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital is seeking an Orthopedic Technician to support daily operations in the orthopedic and emergency center, assisting with locomotor disorder correction and patient care across departments.

This role involves cross-training into PCT and HUC to ensure smooth operations and exceptional patient experiences for children and families in the emergency center and inpatient settings.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a High School diploma, GED, Certificate of Completion or equivalent achievement.
• 2 years in a medical environment with hands on experience with direct patient care.
• Some experience or orthopedic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the orthopedic service in correcting disorders of locomotor structures.
• Assist with emergency center operations to ensure smooth patient experiences.
• Cross-train into PCT and HUC roles to aid in day-to-day operations.

Education

High School diploma or equivalent

2 years medical environment experience

Orthopedic experience preferred
