Job summary

Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in Wesley Chapel, FL is expanding with a Nocturnist ED role for a NP-AC or PA with Florida licensure. This is a new team in a state-of-the-art facility opening Fall 2027, offering an opportunity to contribute to world-class pediatric care from day one.

The role involves comprehensive pediatric ED assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and family-centered care, with a collaborative culture, comprehensive benefits, tuition assistance, and relocation support.

Qualifications

• PNP-AC or PA certification required.
• Master's degree in nursing or PA program required.
• Clinical Master’s Degree in Nursing or DNP required.
• Florida APRN/PA licensure required.
• BLS and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and treat pediatric patients in the ED.
• Conduct comprehensive physical assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and formulate evidence-based treatment plans.
• Administer treatments and medications, perform procedures, and monitor patient responses.
• Provide family-centered care by communicating with patients' families and involving them in decisions.
• Participate in medical rounds, case presentations, and educational activities to enhance knowledge and practice.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and research projects in pediatric critical care.
