Job summary

Superior Healthcare is seeking a Children’s Complex Care Support Worker for 12 hour day shifts in Hertfordshire. You will provide one-to-one support to a child with complex healthcare needs, delivering person-centred care within a supportive clinical team.

The role requires paediatric care experience, ability to manage PEG/Mickey Button feeding and administer medications, plus a full UK driving license. DBS checks and references are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months care experience.
• Experience supporting paediatric clients.
• Full UK manual driving license.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Show the client dignity and respect at all times.
• Follow care plans written by the Nurse Manager to ensure person-centred care.
• Advocate for the client and act in their best interest.
• Be friendly and engaging with the client around their interests and hobbies.
• Accurately document observations and care provided.
