Job summary

Martin-Baker is seeking a PED Team Leader to line manage the PED team at the Chalgrove site, providing day-to-day leadership, supervision and production support. You will ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operations, while engaging, training and directing team members and workload across the group.

You will lead with a focus on safety, quality and continuous improvement in pyro production engineering, supporting ESR and statutory requirements, and liaising with stakeholders and customers as

Qualifications

• Proven team management of over 10 staff within a technical assembly environment.
• University education with relevant Engineering degree.
• Seasoned experience and knowledge of procedures relating to explosives / pyro products.
• Good leadership skills and proven abilities to lead others and manage production workloads.
• Strong communication skills across internal stakeholders and customer representatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and motivate the PED team, aligning workloads and KPIs.
• Ensure health and safety responsibilities follow guidelines.
• Manage workload allocation, training, performance management and compliance.
• Oversee production engineering processes, focusing on quality, rework and procedural controls.
