PE Teacher - Independent School in Croydon - Inspire a Lifelong Love of Sport and Fitness A leading independent school in Croydon is seeking a dedicated and inspiring PE Teacher to join their thriving Physical Education department.

This full-time, permanent position offers an exceptional opportunity to shape young lives and foster a love of sport and physical activity.

The Role: As a PE Teacher, you will: Deliver engaging and challenging lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially 5, promoting physical literacy, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles.

Create a dynamic and inclusive learning environment where students feel confident to develop their skills and participate in a wide range of sports and activities.

Coach and mentor students, helping them to reach their full potential in individual and team sports.

Plan and deliver extracurricular sports programs, including competitive teams and recreational activities.

Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and differentiated support.

Collaborate with colleagues within the PE department to enhance the curriculum, share best practices, and contribute to the school's sporting achievements.

Qualifications and Experience: A Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.

A strong understanding of the KS3, KS4, and (ideally) KS5 Physical Education curriculum.

Experience teaching PE in a secondary school setting.

A passion for sports and a commitment to promoting physical activity and healthy living.
