Job description

PE Teacher (male or female)- Secondary School - Hertford - immediate start

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic PE Teacher (male or female) to join a supportive and thriving Secondary School in Hertford. This is a full-time position with an immediate start, running through to the end of the academic year in July.

The successful PE Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive Physical Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, encouraging participation, teamwork, and personal development in all students. You will be joining a dynamic department committed to promoting fitness, wellbeing, and school spirit through both curricular and extracurricular activities.

This PE Teacher role would suit a confident and experienced educator with a genuine passion for sport and physical development, as well as strong classroom management and communication skills.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

  • UK teaching experience in Physical Education

  • Strong subject knowledge and a motivating presence in class and on the field
