Job summary

Classroom Talent is working with a highly regarded secondary school in Bishop’s Stortford, Hertfordshire, to appoint an enthusiastic PE Teacher from January 2027. This permanent post is employed directly by the school, offering long-term stability and progression.

You will teach PE across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to contribute to GCSE and Sixth Form PE depending on experience. An £8,000 TLR is available, with the potential to take on Head of Department responsibility.

Qualifications

• Must hold UK QTS or be in the process of gaining QTS.
• Confident teaching PE across KS3 and KS4.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management.
• Passionate about PE, sport and student participation.
• Willing to contribute to extracurricular clubs and fixtures.
• Leadership experience or clear leadership potential would be desirable for the Head of Department opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Teach PE across KS3 and KS4.
