Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a Birmingham-based school to appoint a permanent PE Teacher from January. The successful candidate will deliver engaging Physical Education lessons, assess pupil progress, and contribute to curriculum development and enrichment.

You may be required to supervise female pupils in changing areas before and after PE, where being female is an occupational requirement to preserve pupil privacy.

Qualifications

• QTS with a relevant Physical Education specialism.
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging PE lessons.
• Experience monitoring, assessing and supporting pupil progress.

The successful PE Teacher will deliver engaging Physical Education lessons, assess and monitor pupil progress, contribute to curriculum development and enrichment, and undertake Form Tutor responsibilities supporting pupils' academic progress and personal development.
