Job description

This vibrant school is seeking a passionate and energetic PE Teacher to join their dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students, promote physical activity, and instil a lifelong love for sport and fitness. Whether you're an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), we welcome applicants who are committed to delivering high-quality Physical Education across the school. This role begins ASAP in March 2025.

Duties as a PE Teacher:

• Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons across [KS3/KS4/KS5].
• Develop students' skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship in a range of physical activities and sports.
• Organise and support extracurricular clubs, teams, and competitive sporting events.
• Promote health, well-being, and an active lifestyle among students.
• Assess, track, and provide feedback on student progress.
• Maintain and manage sports equipment and facilities.
• Contribute to whole-school initiatives and PE curriculum development.

Ideal PE Teacher:

• A qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent).
• Specialism or strong experience in Physical Education.
• Passion for sport, fitness, and student well-being.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills as a PE Teacher.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
• Willingness to support extracurricular activities and school sports teams.
