Job summary

TeacherActive Limited is recruiting a qualified PE Teacher for day-to-day cover at a Prudhoe middle school in the North East. You will deliver pre-planned PE lessons, support other class cover when required, and strive to maintain high behaviour and pupil engagement throughout lessons.

Are you a qualified PE Teacher looking for flexible day-to-day work in a middle school?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a middle school based in Prudhoe that is looking for a confident and adaptable PE Teacher to provide classroom cover. The school is looking for a reliable teacher who can engage pupils and create a positive learning environment.

The school is looking to take on a PE Teacher for day-to-day cover with an immediate start. The successful PE Teacher will deliver pre-planned PE lessons, support general cover where required and maintain high standards of behaviour and pupil engagement.

The successful PE Teacher will have:

• QTS with a PE specialism (ECTs are also welcomed to apply)


• Experience teaching within a UK school setting


• Experience delivering engaging PE lessons


• The ability to provide general classroom cover where required


• Excellent classroom and behaviour management


• A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching
