Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting dynamic and adaptable PE Supply Teachers to work in our exclusive partner secondary schools from September. Whether you're looking for day-to-day flexibility or a longer-term commitment, we have a wide range of roles to suit you.
As a PE supply teacher, your responsibilities may include:
Delivering engaging and inclusive PE lessons to Key Stages 3–5
Covering pre-set work or planning lessons in line with the school’s curriculum (depending on the role)
Encouraging physical literacy, team spirit, and a positive attitude towards health and fitness
Managing behaviour effectively and promoting a safe and respectful learning environment
Assessing and reporting on student progress when required
Supporting school activities such as sports fixtures or extra-curricular clubs (in long-term roles)
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Experience teaching PE across different year groups (KS3–KS4 essential; KS5 desirable)
A proactive, professional and adaptable approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
