Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is seeking a senior professional to lead and deliver buy-side and sell-side carve-outs within the Private Equity Performance Improvement practice. You will drive high-impact projects, collaborate with experienced peers, and shape operational change and integration strategies for PE-backed businesses.

You will manage rapid diagnostics, develop transformation plans tied to EBITDA, oversee Day-1 readiness, TSA management, and ensure due diligence findings translate into

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Extensive experience delivering buy-side and sell-side carve-out services.
• Proven track record of leading transformational assignments at pre- and post-deal stages.
• Deep understanding of the private equity lifecycle and relevant networks.
• Expertise in operational KPIs, balanced scorecards, and continuous improvement processes.
• Experience with project management tools and change management methodologies.
• Fluency in English. Other European languages desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage rapid diagnostics to identify opportunities for operational transformation and performance improvement.
• Develop and execute transformation plans tied to EBITDA and working capital improvement.
• Lead buy-side and sell-side carve-out projects, addressing cost reduction and revenue enhancement opportunities.
• Evaluate pre-deal carve-out situations, including perimeter definition, complexity, costs, and risks.
• Oversee post-acquisition carve-out implementation, including Day-1 preparation, TSA management, and standalone transition.
• Ensure operational due diligence findings are realized, delivering growth, cost reduction, and quick wins.
• Drive 100-day planning processes, including merger integration and synergy realization.
