Job summary

Axon Moore are partnering with a Leyland-based private equity-backed group to appoint a Group Financial Controller. This role owns group statutory accounting, consolidation, board reporting and tax, with scope to lead M&A activity and support future exit strategy.

You will have ACA or equivalent, proven FC experience in a PE-backed environment, and a track record of progression, with international exposure desirable.

Qualifications

• Technically strong with ACA qualification and experience in a FC role within a PE-backed business.
• Experience in group statutory accounting, consolidation, board reporting and group tax is essential.
• M&A exposure and international exposure are desirable and demonstrate career progression.

Responsibilities

• Own group statutory accounting, consolidation and board reporting.
• Lead group tax work and build structures to support future M&A activity.
• Play a significant role in the business sale process in the future.
