Job summary
Perfect Placement UK Ltd in Hull, East Yorkshire, is seeking an experienced PDI Technician to join our busy vehicle preparation team. The role offers a basic salary of up to £33,038 with an OTE of £36,000 and structured manufacturer training within a professional workshop environment.
You will carry out pre-delivery inspections, routine maintenance and use digital workshop systems and iPads to complete job cards.
Qualifications
- Qualified Level 2/3 Light Vehicle Maintenance (IMI or City & Guilds).
- Experience as a PDI Technician or vehicle mechanic preferred.
- Familiar with Pre-Delivery Inspections and basic servicing.
- Strong teamwork and adherence to established processes.
- Willing to train to meet manufacturer standards.
Responsibilities
- Carry out Pre-Delivery Inspections on fleet and customer vehicles.
- Perform routine maintenance including oil and filter changes.
- Utilise digital workshop systems and tablets to complete job cards.
- Ensure work meets manufacturer procedures and safety standards.
- Check vehicles are compliant and ready for delivery.
- Maintain high workmanship, safety and quality.
- Collaborate with the workshop team to meet targets.
- Fulfill all responsibilities of a PDI Technician in a busy department.
