Job summary

Command Recruitment is seeking a PDI Technician for a 4 on 4 off shift pattern in the UK. You will prepare vehicles for sale, carrying out servicing and light repairs, with a focus on delivering retail-ready cars. The role offers a structured, well-equipped workshop and supportive colleagues.

The position targets Semi-Skilled or Qualified Technicians, with additional on-site training and potential EV/hybrid exposure for established staff. Salary is competitive and geared to experience.

Qualifications

• Semi-Skilled or Qualified Technician with willingness to learn.
• Experience in PDI and pre-delivery inspection tasks.

Responsibilities

• General servicing and light mechanical repairs.
• Get used cars retail-ready for resale (brakes, pads, suspension, head units).
• Diagnose and repair vehicles following manufacturer guidelines.
• Perform PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) and final quality checks.
