Motorpoint Ltd in Birmingham is seeking a PDI Technician to ensure vehicle readiness and high-quality handovers. You will service, inspect, diagnose faults, and perform road tests to meet Motorpoint’s standards while maintaining documentation and supporting movements across the site.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, a Level 2 motor trade qualification, and a proactive, team-based approach. Training is provided for EV qualifications, and occasional cross-site support may be needed.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Minimum Level 2 motor trade qualification.
• EV qualification desirable; training provided.
• Ability to inspect and spot issues accurately.
• Capable of meeting deadlines and working under pressure.
• Team player who can also work independently.

Responsabilités

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Inspect vehicles and diagnose faults to meet quality benchmarks.
• Follow PDI process, including road tests, to ensure handover readiness.
• Complete documentation accurately and support vehicle movements as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and collaborate with colleagues across departments.
• Champion health and safety and contribute to a positive team culture.
• Carry out any other ad hoc tasks as required.
