Job summary

Igloo Ltd is currently recruiting a PDI Technician to join a busy automotive preparation centre in Peterborough. The role offers a temporary period with a potential temp-to-perm path and an opportunity to work alongside experienced technicians in a professional workshop environment.

You will inspect vehicles, perform safety checks, log documentation accurately, and maintain high workshop standards while meeting productivity targets.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience as a PDI Technician, Vehicle Technician or similar.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organised approach to work.
• Competent using computer systems and workshop software.
• Honest, reliable and quality-focused.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• MOT Tester qualification is advantageous but not essential.
• Previous dealership experience desirable but not essential.
• Own tools are essential.
• Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences.

The Role:

As a PDI Technician, your responsibilities will include:
