Job summary
Talent-UK in the Doncaster area is recruiting a PDI Operative to join a busy workshop. You will perform detailed quality checks on completed vehicle conversions and ensure installations are correctly fitted and fully operational.
You will record checks on a tablet, complete paperwork, assist with handovers, and support the Compliance and Workshop Managers. A hands-on automotive background is preferred and a valid driving licence is required.
Qualifications
- Experience in quality control/assurance or inspection is beneficial.
- Valid driving licence is required.
- Basic computer skills and confidence with tablet-based systems.
Responsibilities
- Carry out detailed quality checks on completed vehicle conversions.
- Record checks using a tablet-based system and complete quality documentation.
- Ensure equipment and installations are correctly fitted and fully operational.
- Assist with vehicle handovers and communicate with customers as needed.
- Support the Compliance Manager and Workshop Manager with quality and operational tasks.
- Identify and report issues or defects and assist with problem solving.
