Job summary

Motorpoint in Birmingham is seeking a PDI Technician to ensure vehicles are mechanically prepared for handover. You will perform servicing, inspections, and road tests to uphold quality standards, with a 42.5-hour week on a rota that includes weekend work.

Essentially you need a full UK driving licence and at least Level 2 motor trade qualification; an EV qualification is desirable and training is provided. A permanent, on-site role with benefits awaits.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Inspect vehicles and diagnose faults to meet quality benchmarks.
• Follow PDI process, including road tests, to ensure handover readiness.
• Complete documentation accurately and assist with vehicle movements.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and collaborate across departments.
• Champion health and safety and contribute to a positive team culture.
• Carry out any other ad hoc tasks as required.
