Job summary

Stagecoach London seeks an experienced Driver Trainer to join our East London and South East London training team. The role focuses on delivering practical driver training to PCV standards and ensuring high-quality customer service within a public transport environment.

The successful candidate will instruct, mentor and assess new drivers, conduct vehicle familiarisation and assessment drives, and keep up-to-date with regulations such as TfL, DVLA and City and Guilds requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering PCV driver training for a transport operator.
• Understanding of Health & Safety at Work Act and UK PCV driving regulations.
• NVQ Level 3 in Driving Instruction or equivalent, or proven track record as PCV instructor/trainer.

Responsibilities

• Deliver practical driver training to PCV driving standards.
• Instruct, mentor and assess new colleagues to attain PCV licence.
• Carrying out vehicle familiarisation, assessment drives and corrective training.
• Work early and late shifts between 0600 and 2255, Mon–Fri.
