Job summary

IntSol Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced PCV Bus Drivers for an immediate opportunity with an established bus operator in South Devon.

The initial assignment runs for 34 weeks, with the potential for ongoing work and a permanent opportunity for the right driver.

Drivers can choose to work 4 or 5 days per week, with a minimum 10-hour duty each day.

Qualifications

• Full UK PCV Category D Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC.
• Minimum 2 years' bus driving experience.
• No more than 6 points on your licence.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate PCV buses on scheduled services
• Follow routes and timetables
• Complete vehicle safety checks
• Provide excellent customer service to passengers
• Follow traffic laws and company procedures
• Report vehicle defects or safety concerns
• Maintain professional driving standards

• PAYE Including Holiday Pay: £19.61 per hour
• Umbrella Assignment Rate: £23.24 per hour

• Earliest start: 06:25
• Latest finish: 19:50
• No Sunday services
• Immediate start available

Duties

• Safely operate PCV buses on scheduled services

• Complete required vehicle safety checks

• Maintain a professional standard of driving at all times

Requirements

• Full UK PCV Category D Licence
• Valid Driver CPC
• Minimum 2 years' bus driving experience
• No more than 6 points on your driving licence
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Reliable and professional
• Able to commute to the South Devon area
