Job summary

Newbury & District is seeking a Qualified School Bus PCV Driver to join our Newbury operation on a permanent, part-time basis. The role offers 30 hours per week with additional overtime opportunities and a pay of £15.00 per hour, Monday to Friday.

You will drive AM/PM school routes, provide excellent passenger service, and perform daily vehicle checks. We offer CPC training, a contributory pension after 3 months, free uniform, and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• A valid PCV licence.
• A current Driver CPC card.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating vehicles on AM and PM School Services.
• Providing friendly and professional customer service.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects.
• Supporting passengers, including those who may need additional assistance.
• Following road traffic regulations, safety procedures and company policies.
• Working with controllers and colleagues to help keep our services running reliably.
