Job summary

The Lakeside Healthcare Group is seeking a Practice Nurse to deliver safe, high quality primary care nursing within St Neots PCN. You will work under the NMC Code and maintain professional standards while supporting service development and policy delivery.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with current NMC pin.

Job description

The purpose of the Practice Nurse is to deliver safe, high quality primary care nursing services to the practices population. Working within the NMC Code of Conduct and professional boundaries, the post holder will deliver primary health care interventions and care. The post holder will support service development, the safe delivery of policy and procedures, and demonstrate effective professional nurse standards, advocacy and performance. We are looking for a nurse, with experience in treatment room procedures with practice nurse skills being of benefit, including cervical cytology, immunisations, wound care, contraception etc. St Neots PCN has a great Nursing/AHP team with a wide range of skills, we have a good support network and offer different training opportunities.

Lakeside Healthcare is a large GP partnership that provides NHS care for around 170,000 patients across Cambridgeshire, Peterborough, Northamptonshire and Lincolnshire.
