Job summary

GTS International in Bedfordshire is seeking an Electronics / PCB Inspector to support production and quality teams. You will inspect PCBs and assemblies against drawings, specifications and quality standards, ensuring accuracy and compliance throughout the production process.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail, the ability to read engineering drawings, and experience with inspection tools. IPC-A-610 knowledge would be advantageous for complex assemblies.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in electronics, PCB inspection or electronic manufacturing.
• A good understanding of PCB assembly and electronic components.
• Experience inspecting solder joints and identifying PCB assembly defects.
• The ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to inspection.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• The ability to work independently as well as part of a wider production/quality team.
• Experience with IPC-A-610 or other relevant electronics workmanship standards would be highly advantageous

Responsibilities

• Inspect PCBs and electronic assemblies to drawings, specifications and quality standards.
• Carry out visual and dimensional inspection of electronic components and assemblies.
• Identify defects, workmanship issues and non-conformances.
• Use inspection equipment and test tools where required.
• Review production documentation and ensure inspection records are completed accurately.
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
• Support investigations into defects and help identify root causes.
• Ensure products comply with relevant industry and company standards.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail at all times
