Job summary

Ford & Stanley Talent Services Group Ltd is seeking an experienced PCB Wiring & Panel Wiring Technician in Staffordshire for a 2-3 month contract. The role starts on day shifts for training, then moves to afternoon shifts, with an immediate start available.

You will wire electrical panels, install PCB assemblies, build wiring looms, and perform crimping, soldering, testing, and fault finding to the required quality and safety standards. Prior rail/manufacturing/aerospace experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Experience in PCB wiring, panel wiring or electrical assembly.
• Proficient in crimping, soldering, wiring and testing.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and wiring schematics.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Experience in rail, manufacturing, aerospace, automotive or similar engineering environments is advantageous.
• Valid Medical and Drug & Alcohol (D&A) screening is required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire electrical panel boards.
• Install and connect PCB assemblies.
• Build, route, and fit wiring looms.
• Crimp and terminate electrical connections.
• Solder electronic and electrical components.
• Perform electrical testing and basic fault-finding.
• Work from engineering drawings, schematics and work instructions.
• Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.
