Job summary

Malloy Aeronautics Ltd. in Berkshire is seeking a skilled PCB Manufacturing Technician. You will manufacture, assemble and test printed circuit boards for our unmanned vehicles, using a range of electrical and mechanical skills and reading engineering drawings to ensure high quality builds.

Ideal candidates will have PCB manufacture experience, strong soldering ability, and meticulous attention to detail in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. Security clearance requirements apply.

Qualifications

• PCB manufacture experience.
• Solder capability and ability to read electromechanical drawings.
• Correct pick and place errors in build.
• Understand build sequence instructions.
• Stock validation and re-order trigger planning.
• Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture, assemble and test printed circuit boards (PCB) for unmanned vehicles.
• Utilise a wide range of electrical and mechanical engineering skills throughout the manufacture.
• Report and respond to any failures quickly and safely.
• Set up PCB assembly with pick and place machinery and manual component placement.
• Visual inspection of bare boards and finished assemblies; verify against BOM.
