ALTEN Group is seeking a PCB Manufacturing Engineer to drive the optimization of PCB manufacturing processes in a fast-paced production environment in Telford, UK. The role focuses on continuous improvement, process validation, and close collaboration with design, quality, and production teams to ensure manufacturability and high yields.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in electronics, and be willing to obtain BPSS clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or relevant technical military background with equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Support and improve PCB manufacturing processes across production operations.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance quality, efficiency, and yield.
• Investigate manufacturing issues and lead root cause analysis activities.
• Collaborate with design, quality, and production teams to optimise manufacturability.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, procedures, and work instructions.
• Support new product introduction activities and process validation exercises.

Are you an experienced Manufacturing Engineer looking to play a key role in the production of complex, high-reliability electronic products? You will support the optimisation of manufacturing processes, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and contribute to the delivery of advanced engineering solutions within a fast-paced production environment.

Location: Telford
On-site Requirement: 3 Days Per Week
Seniority: 5+ Years Experience
Security Clearance: Candidates must be willing and eligible to obtain BPSS clearance.
