MBDA UK Ltd. Bolton site is seeking a Team Lead for PCB Layout to drive complex board designs across internal programmes. You will lead a team of layout engineers, ensuring electrical, mechanical, thermal and environmental requirements are met and delivered on schedule.

The role involves mentoring colleagues, coordinating with program managers, manufacturing engineering and procurement, and traveling between Bolton and Stevenage as needed to support the design team and training needs.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in PCB layout and high-reliability designs.
• Experience leading design teams and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead PCB layout initiatives across internal programs, delivering complex, multi-layer boards.
• Mentor engineers, manage workload forecasts, and drive on-time delivery to cost and quality targets.
• Coordinate with design teams, project managers and suppliers across national/international sites.
