Job summary

AVD Appoint is recruiting a PCB Layout Engineer for a permanent role in Berkshire. You will create complex PCB layouts using Altium, optimise components for performance, manufacturability and reliability, and manage six+ layer boards that integrate digital, mixed-signal, power electronics and flex-rigid technologies.

Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of PCB layout experience, strong Altium skills, and a track record of delivering high-quality designs for challenging electronics

Qualifications

• At least 3 years' experience in PCB layout or PCB design roles.
• Experience with Altium for complex multi-layer boards.

Responsibilities

• Create complicated and technically advanced PCB layouts in Altium.
• Optimise components for performance, manufacturability and reliability.
• Work on 6+ layer boards including digital, mixed-signal, power electronics and flex-rigid technologies.
