Job summary

microTECH Global Limited is seeking a PCB Design Engineer (Zuken) to join our innovative engineering team developing high-performance electronic products. You will design complex multi-layer PCBs, optimize layouts for signal integrity and EMI, and work closely with hardware, mechanical, manufacturing, and test teams throughout the product

Qualifications

• Proven PCB layout experience using Zuken CR-8000/CR-5000.
• Strong PCB manufacturing and assembly knowledge.
• Designing high-speed, multi-layer digital/mixed-signal PCBs.
• Knowledge of signal integrity, power integrity, EMC and DFM.
• Ability to read schematics and engineering docs.
• Experience in multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex multi-layer PCB layouts using Zuken CR-8000/CR-5000.
• Produce layouts from schematics meeting design standards and manufacturing requirements.
• Collaborate with Hardware, Mechanical, Manufacturing and Test Engineers.
• Perform placement, routing, SI/PI, EMC/EMI considerations.
• Create and maintain libraries, footprints and documentation.
• Support prototypes, design reviews and production releases.
• Liaise with PCB manufacturers to resolve fabrication queries.
• Ensure designs meet quality, reliability and manufacturability requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex multi-layer PCB layouts using Zuken CR-8000 / CR-5000.


• Produce PCB layouts from schematics while ensuring compliance with design standards and manufacturing requirements.


• Work closely with Hardware, Mechanical, Manufacturing, and Test Engineers throughout the product development lifecycle.


• Perform PCB placement, routing, signal integrity, power integrity, and EMC/EMI considerations.


• Create and maintain PCB libraries, footprints, and design documentation.


• Support prototype builds, design reviews, and production releases.


• Liaise with PCB manufacturers to resolve fabrication and assembly queries.


• Ensure designs meet quality, reliability, and manufacturability requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in PCB layout and design using Zuken CR-8000 or CR-5000.


• Strong understanding of PCB manufacturing and assembly processes.


• Experience designing high-speed, multi-layer digital and mixed-signal PCBs.


• Knowledge of signal integrity, power integrity, EMC, and DFM principles.


• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and engineering documentation.


• Experience working within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
