Job summary

Paxton Access Ltd in Brighton is seeking an Electronics Assembly team member to join our state-of-the-art facilities. You will work on the build process of PCBs, closely with automated SMT equipment, assembling and testing components as part of a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a machine operative role within SMT or PCBA manufacturing.
• Genuine interest in technology and how things are made; willingness to learn all processes to build PCBs.
• Strong attention to detail and a desire to improve processes and quality standards.
• Good communication and collaboration within a team.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, rework and/or reassemble units and sub-assemblies using layouts, BOMs and written instructions.
• Pick and kit materials for Pick & Place Feeders and load kitted trolleys.
• Operate automated and manual assembly equipment (Pick & Place, Solder Screen Printer, Re-flow Oven, AOI, Selective Solder).
• Break-out and test PCBA components using in-house test systems.
