Job summary

Essential Recruitment seeks an Assembly Operative for a well-established electronics manufacturing company in Clipstone, Mansfield. You will work on PCBs, solder components, and assemble them into cases and chassis.

Temp-to-perm, immediate start, with a Monday-Thursday 7:45am-4:30pm and Friday 7:45am-2pm schedule. The role requires PCB/electronic assembly experience, confident soldering, and a keen eye for detail to meet quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in PCB assembly or electronic assembly.
• Confident soldering of small electronic components.
• Good attention to detail and quality standards.
• Ability to follow technical instructions and production processes.

Responsibilities

• Populating printed circuit boards (PCBs) with electronic components.
• Soldering electronic components to PCBs.
• Assembling PCBAs into cases and chassis.
• Inspecting PCBAs to ensure high-quality workmanship standards are met.
• Carrying out modifications and repairs where required.
• Preparing components and wires, including tinning.
• Following production instructions provided by supervisors.
• Supporting environmental and energy-saving initiatives.
• Adhering to all company Health & Safety policies and procedures.
