Job summary

Interaction Recruitment are representing a client near St Ives, Cambridgeshire, recruiting a PCB Assembly Operative for a full-time, permanent position. The role involves assembling PCBs and box-build products, reading drawings and maintaining production records.

Hours are 39 per week with a £26,000 salary and own transport required. The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of electronics, strong manual dexterity, and the ability to work to high-quality standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electronic components.
• Good reading of technical information.
• Reading technical drawings and specs.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Organised and communicates effectively.
• Computer literacy.
• Reliable team player with proactive approach.
• Experience in PCB/electronics assembly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assemble PCB and electronic components using hand and power tools.
• Soldering, cropping, de-paneling and minor rework.
• Inspect components and finished assemblies to high-quality standards.
• Read drawings, job packs, parts lists and technical specifications.
• Complete production records and maintain accurate documentation.
• Work to production schedules and deadlines.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping and follow ESD, health & safety and QMS procedures.
• Support colleagues and assist with training where required.
• Identify quality and efficiency improvements.
