Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd is looking for an experienced PCB Assembly Technician to join their production team on a 2-3 month contract. You will assemble electronics to drawings and specifications, performing through-hole soldering on PCBs.

You will inspect your work, maintain quality, and work to production schedules while collaborating with the wider team to meet delivery targets. The ideal candidate has PCB assembly or electronics manufacturing experience and strong reading of schematics.

Job description

Our client is an established electronics manufacturer specialising in PCB assembly, cable and box-build solutions. Known for their quality, reliability and strong customer partnerships, they are looking for an experienced PCB Assembly Technician to join their production team on a 2-3 month contract.

You'll be responsible for assembling electronic products in line with technical drawings and specifications, carrying out high-quality through-hole soldering on PCBs, and reading and interpreting assembly instructions, schematics and manufacturing documentation.

You will also inspect your own work to ensure it meets the required quality standards, work to production schedules while maintaining accuracy and consistency, and collaborate with the wider production team to meet delivery targets.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in PCB assembly or electronics manufacturing
• Strong through-hole soldering skills
• The ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• The ability to work accurately and consistently within a production environment
