Cameron Clarke Associates in Hertfordshire is looking for a PC/IT Workshop Engineer to join a busy workshop. The role covers repairing and staging EPOS and IT hardware, managing stock, and supporting field engineers by phone.

You will oversee Goods In/Out, maintain the stock database and prepare equipment for installations. Eligible applicants will have hands-on PC, EPOS and IT hardware experience and a proactive, organised approach.

PC/IT Workshop Engineer | Hertfordshire | Full Time | Hours of work are Monday to Thursday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, and Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm | Up to £30 000 (depending on experience)

Our client is a nationwide IT support organisation established in 1988, working in partnership with manufacturers, software houses, and system integrators. We offer our clients a structured “break-fix” service along with engineering resources for installations and rollouts.

The role offers exposure to a wide range of PC and PC-based EPOS equipment, including the latest technologies such as back-office systems, networking, LAN/WAN configuration, receipt and laser printers, as well as routers and switches.

Are you the right person for the job?

• Hands-on experience working with PCs, EPOS systems, and IT hardware
• Confident in repairing and staging a wide range of IT and EPOS equipment
• Able to manage workshop operations, including stock control and database maintenance
• Capable of providing phone-based support to field engineers and clients
• Organised, proactive, and eager to contribute to a growing IT support business
