Job description

PBWM Executive Office - Engagement & Governance Coordinator

Join us in the PBWM Executive Office focused on Engagement and Governance, where you will support the PBWM CEO across all aspects of their Engagement strategy. This includes end-to-end coordination of CEO client engagement, identifying strategic priorities, liaising with bankers for briefing preparation, and tracking actions and follow-ups from client engagements. You will also lead travel and event preparations for the PBWM CEO, coordinating regional visits with stakeholders across the global business, and preparing event briefings and talking points. Additionally, you will support key PBWM management processes related to PBWM ExCo, MBR governance, and SMR documentation.

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following experience and skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor information for different audiences and high attention to detail
  • Strong organizational, time management, and planning skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, managing high volumes and delivering efficiently
  • Proven ability to prepare high-quality briefing and governance materials for senior audiences

Additional skills that will be advantageous:

  • Familiarity with the PBWM client base and product set; experience in relationship management is a plus
  • A structured approach to planning, problem-solving, and organization, focused on high standards
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to develop a broad network of SMEs and perspectives

This role is based in London.

Purpose of the role

To enable the success of senior executives by helping navigate complex challenges, make informed decisions, and achieve strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities include:
  1. Providing strategic support to senior leaders, including developing and executing business strategies, research, and analysis.
  2. Managing colleague engagement planning and communication channels.
  3. Overseeing key projects and initiatives, monitoring progress, and reporting to the executive team.
  4. Driving operational efficiency by identifying improvements, streamlining processes, and implementing best practices.
  5. Developing performance reports, analyzing metrics, and supporting financial planning and budget management.
  6. Supporting leadership in resource planning, talent development, and diversity initiatives.
  7. Ensuring risk and control oversight, crisis management, and business continuity planning.
  8. Implementing governance frameworks, preparing board materials, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  9. Advising on decision-making, policy development, and operational effectiveness.
  10. Leading or guiding teams and collaborative assignments, setting objectives, coaching, and performance appraisal.
  11. Demonstrating leadership behaviors such as listening, inspiring, aligning, and developing others.
  12. Collaborating across functions, conducting complex data analysis, and communicating sensitive or complex information effectively.
