Job summary

Eleven 11 Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for a Female Support Worker in Hildenborough to join a specialist Positive Behaviour Support service. The role is full-time, 39 hours per week on a rota basis, with flexibility across all shifts.

The post requires a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, and is open to female applicants only in line with Equality Act provisions. The successful candidate will support men with learning disabilities and autism in a rural setting.

• Experience supporting people with learning disabilities, autism and behaviours of concern.
• Knowledgeable and confident using Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) approaches.
• Calm, patient and emotionally resilient.

Responsibilities

• Supporting people to live independently while promoting choice, dignity and respect.
• Delivering person-centred support tailored to individual needs and aspirations.
• Assisting with daily living tasks including cooking, shopping, managing finances and maintaining a safe home environment.
• Providing personal care where required.
• Using Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) approaches to understand and respond to behaviours of concern.
• Encouraging community participation, hobbies, interests and meaningful relationships.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
• Supporting individuals to achieve their personal goals and live fulfilling lives.
