Job summary

Salutem Care and Education is seeking a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to embed PBS across services, lead caseloads, and design plans that reduce restrictive practices while enhancing quality of life. You will train teams, analyse data, and participate in MDT meetings to support individuals and promote person-centred care.

The role requires a Level 4 PBS qualification (or equivalent) and at least two years of PBS delivery experience, with a strong emphasis on leadership and autonomous

Qualifications

• Level 4 PBS qualification (or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years’ experience delivering PBS and managing caseloads.

Responsibilities

• Embed PBS principles across services.
• Carry own caseload and lead behaviour assessments and intervention planning.
• Collect and analyse behavioural data to inform person-centred strategies.
• Design and implement PBS plans improving quality of life and reducing restraint.
• Train, coach and run workshops to build team confidence and skills.
• Facilitate consultations and collaborative planning using SBARD.
• Monitor and review interventions, attend MDT meetings, and compile reports.
• Champion Human Rights-based approaches and lead on Reducing Restrictive Practice initiatives.
• Support transitions and contribute to service needs assessments.
