  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualised PBS plans in collaboration with children, young people, families, carers, education providers, and support staff.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, training, and guidance to residential care teams and support staff in the effective application of PBS approaches that meet children's individual needs.
  • Deliver high-quality training on PBS, trauma-informed practice, Active Support, and child-centred approaches.
  • Collaborate effectively with children, young people, families, schools, social workers, therapists, staff teams, and external professionals to promote positive outcomes and ensure the best possible care and support.
  • Actively participate in clinical supervision and support the development of practice leadership across children's services.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation in line with organisational policies, best practice guidance, children's legislation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Based in Altrincham with required travel across the North West.
The Ideal Candidate:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience supporting children and young people with learning disabilities, autism, and/or complex needs.
  • Exhibits excellent communication, time management, and organisational skills.
  • Has the ability to translate complex behavioural and developmental theories into practical, child-friendly support strategies that improve outcomes.
  • Is passionate about reducing restrictive practices, promoting children's rights, and helping children and young people reach their full potential.
  • Possesses a strong understanding of relevant legislation, safeguarding responsibilities, best practice guidance, and ethical frameworks relating to children's services.
  • Based in Altrincham with flexibility and a willingness to travel as required.
  • Driver’s licence and access to a car are essential for the job.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
  • Opportunities for ongoing professional development and career advancement.
