Qualifications

• Strong background in UK payroll operations.
• Understand payroll beyond processing: controls, compliance, systems.
• Knowledge of UK payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
• Excel analysis to identify trends and discrepancies.
• Experience with payroll tech such as Workday, Oracle, SAP or Dayforce.
• Strong consulting and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercially minded with interest in technology and transformation.
• Experience in consulting, implementation, transformation or payroll tech.
• International payroll exposure beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on modernising payroll operations.
• Assess payroll setups and identify gaps, risks and opportunities for change.
• Help clients select and implement payroll and workforce management technology.
• Provide specialist input across payroll projects, audits and transformation programmes.
• Work alongside project teams to deliver complex client engagements from start to finish.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders and act as a trusted payroll advisor.
• Support business development through proposals, tenders, presentations and client meetings.
• Contribute to developing new payroll solutions, processes and industry best practice.
