Job summary

The Portfolio Group Inc. in Uxbridge, England, is recruiting a Payroll Team Leader on a 12-month FTC. Salary is GBP 45,000 per annum with a hybrid working pattern and excellent benefits including pension and private healthcare.

You will manage a large monthly payroll (2000+), oversee statutory deductions, and develop a small payroll team while supporting the Payroll Manager. This is a fast-paced role in a well-known business with a strong reputation and opportunities to influence payroll

Qualifications

• End-to-end payroll management experience.
• Staff development and team leadership abilities.
• Strong knowledge of payroll compliance and statutory deductions.
• Experience collaborating with internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead full payroll service for 2000+ employees on a monthly cycle.
• Administer SMP, SPP, SSP, NI and PAYE deductions.
• Process pension contributions and auto-enrolment.
• Manage a small payroll team and mentor junior staff.
• Partner with Payroll Manager and key internal stakeholders.
• Perform payroll reconciliations and audits.

• A full start to finish payroll service for large sized monthly payroll – 2000+
• Administering all statutory deductions including SMP, SPP, SSP, N.I, PAYE
• Administering pension contributions
• Working with internal stakeholder on a regular basis
• Perform regular payroll reconciliations and payroll audits
• Develop a small team of Payroll Specialists
• Support the Payroll Manager when required
