Cygnet is seeking an experienced Payroll Team Lead for its Kings Hill office, with a hybrid 2-days-in-office schedule and a 37.5-hour week. You will support and lead the payroll team through end-to-end processing, ensuring accuracy across main payroll runs and HMRC communications.

Qualifications

• Experience leading payroll teams.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processes and legislation.

Responsibilities

• Support the end-to-end payroll cycle, including hands-on processing as needed.
• Review payroll runs for accuracy and perform first-line checks.
• Manage system-wide calculations, transfers between payroll entities and re-hires.
• Handle HMRC communications such as tax code updates and FPS/EPS submissions.
• Provide coaching and development support to payroll team members.
