About the team

Our national payroll team supports our clients to better run their payroll functions and to ensure they are compliant with UK payroll and pension legislation. Our successful team of more than 70 professionals is growing across all areas and therefore requires more team members.

About the role
  • As a Supervisor in one of our high-performing national payroll teams, you'll play a key part in supporting the Manager with delivering high-quality payroll & pension services to clients.
  • You will guarantee client service standards are maintained by ensuring your team adheres to all mandatory processes and provides quality control reviews.
  • You will develop junior team members with training, consistent feedback, and coaching as appropriate.
  • This role will have some direct responsibility for a small portfolio of clients.
  • You will support the team manager in defining and improving processes, technology, and training by providing feedback and ideas.
  • You can be based in Birmingham, Glasgow, or Manchester and will be expected to attend the office a minimum of 2 days per week (the days of your choosing).
What are we looking for?
  • Experience in a quality bureau environment.
  • Desirable experience of managing direct reports and/or coaching individuals.
  • Leadership skills – organized, able to independently deliver to deadlines, manage various stakeholders, comfortable giving constructive feedback.
  • Good client relationship skills and comfortable dealing with clients on both technical and commercial matters.
  • Passion for quality improvement and a team player.
