Job summary

CMA Recruitment Group is supporting a Weymouth, Dorset client in recruiting a Payroll Assistant to join their finance team.

You will assist in day-to-day processing of weekly and monthly payroll, collating data from attendance systems and updating employee records. You'll work closely with the Payroll Manager in a small team, ensuring accuracy and timeliness to meet deadlines.

Experience with PAYE, SSP and SMP and a good Excel user are desirable attributes.

Qualifications

• Experience in payroll processing is required.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Proficient in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Collate weekly and monthly payroll data from attendance systems.
• Amend overtime and shift patterns on payroll.
• Calculate complex elements of the payroll accurately.
• PAYE, SSP, SMP calculations
• Up to date with all payroll legislation and HMRC processes
• Payroll reports for management meetings
