Job summary

EDF Energy Limited, Sizewell C, is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join the in-house payroll team. You will process payroll transactions, maintain employee records and respond to queries to ensure accurate, on-time pay each month.

You will report to the Payroll, Pensions & Reward Manager and work with HR and Finance to support payroll governance, reporting and system improvements while upholding data security and compliance.

Qualifications

• Payroll experience with attention to accuracy and timeliness.
• Proficient data handling and high numerical accuracy.
• Advanced Excel skills for payroll reporting and analysis.
• Experience with payroll systems (SAP or SuccessFactors) is beneficial.
• Strong work ethic in a regulated, large organisation.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll transactions including starters and leavers.
• Maintain accurate employee data and payroll records.
• Support payroll validation checks and reconciliations.
• Respond to payroll queries from employees and managers.
• Support year-end activities and payroll audits.
• Produce payroll reports and management information.
• Assist with payroll process improvements and system enhancements.
