Glu Recruit are recruiting for an experienced Payroll Officer to join an established and growing professional services business in Rotherham. The successful candidate will manage payrolls for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' payroll experience.
• Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
• Experience using payroll software; BrightPay desirable.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Confident communicator with strong client service skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls from start to finish.
• Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, deductions and statutory payments.
• Complete RTI submissions and pension auto-enrolment requirements.
• Manage starters, leavers, payroll amendments and year-end processes.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure legislative compliance.
• Respond to client payroll queries and provide advice.
• Support improvements to payroll processes and systems.
