Addington Ball Limited in Kettering is seeking a Payroller for a 12-month maternity cover. You will join a busy team handling payrolls for diverse clients, from director-only payrolls to weekly cycles, with deadlines and accuracy. The role offers training, modern offices, and on-site parking in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

Practical knowledge of Sage 50 Payroll.
Deadline-driven with strong attention to detail.
Clear communicator with excellent customer service skills.
Understanding of payroll and tax legislation.
Able to carry out manual calculations when needed.
Proactive, organised and able to prioritise effectively.

Responsibilities

Processing payrolls within set deadlines for a wide range of clients.
Handling pension administration and related tasks.
Managing all associated payroll administration and filing.
Dealing with queries from clients, colleagues and HMRC.
Processing starters, leavers, absences, statutory leave and pay.
Reconciling payroll data and preparing journals for finance teams.
