TipTopJob in the UK is seeking a Payroll Services Lead to manage payroll processes and service delivery across multiple sites. The role supports a hybrid working model with base locations at Exeter or Winfrith and aims to deliver a high-quality payroll service for two police forces.

You will lead the payroll team, maintain data accuracy, and ensure compliance with SLAs and statutory requirements. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this collaborative

Qualifications

• Experience in a payroll environment with a recognised payroll or financial qualification (e.g., CIPP or equivalent).
• Experience leading or supervising a team, with ability to prioritise work, delegate effectively and meet deadlines.
• Strong IT skills, including experience of computerised payroll or financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage payroll processes and service delivery, leading and supporting the payroll team to ensure a high-quality, accurate and efficient service.
• Work closely with the Payroll and Pension Data Analyst to maintain data accuracy and consistency, while supporting the Payroll and Pensions Manager and Head of Payroll and Pensions.
• Ensure compliance with service level agreements, statutory requirements and established policies and procedures.
